The Morson Beograd Tool Design Department has produced high quality work according to strict customer requirements for high volume aircraft assembly production. The experience and skills of the team are demonstrated by the complexity of projects undertaken as well as a proficiency with the most advanced software tools. Additional capabilities include the simulation of manufacturing processes giving optimized tool design.

SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES

The activities of the Department include:

Major assembly jigs for wing, fuselage and flight control surfaces
Master model design
ICY master tooling and checking fixtures
Tools for composite fabrication
Machine shop tooling for the air frame structure detail parts
General machine shop jig and tool design
Ground support equipment design
Aircraft and industrial turbine blade tooling
Test rigs
Press tool design (hydroform blocks, strachform blocks, etc...)
4 and 5 axis CNC holding fixtures.

The Tool Design Department also offers manufacture service via sub-contract suppliers using the Department's own project engineers to expedite and commission.
